Pacifier Game

Sammy invented a new game: Spitting out his pacifier and then pushing it back into his mouth. He was very proud of himself and did it over and over again.

Holy Cow -- 12 Weeks Old!

He's so long, his feet have to rest on the other arm!

Finally, a smiley picture on the cow chair!

For the first time, Sam plays with the cow chair and pets and grabs the cow's ear.

Finished the Nursery

This weekend, Brian and I finally took the time to finish Sam's nursery. We hung things up on the walls and put all his books and toys in his bookshelves. Here are some photos of the finished product.

Congrats Kimi

Sammy is very sad that Aunt Kimi is graduating and moving 3,000 miles away, but he wanted to congratulate her on finishing her very last law school exam.

Happy Happy Baby

This is the Sam I get to see almost every time after I feed him. Usually when I turn the camera on, when he's playing or we're just hanging out, he watches the camera and doesn't smile nearly as big as he does when we're alone. This time, I tricked him by setting up the iPad camera next to me (he's used to having the iPad there while nursing and burping since it's my nighttime entertainment and nightlight!) so I got a great smiley video. Please ignore my arm.

Finding His Feet

On Saturday, Laurette got Sam rattles for his wrists and ankles. We put them on him, and he looked cute, but he took no notice of them whatsoever.

This morning, I noticed that he was looking at his feet, fascinated. So I put the rattle socks back on, and voila, Sam had a new favorite toy. He played with his feet for a good half an hour.

Here's Sam fascinated by his feet.

Here he is super happy with his new toy.

Seder

Sammy joined us in the dining room for our Passover seder.

Backyard

Sunday was a beautiful day so we spent time outside in the backyard. Sam also got to meet the Wasser-men, Danny, Yaakov, and Avi.

Visiting NJ

Sam took his first trip to NJ (his first trip away from home!) this weekend. He stayed in his Mommy and Aunt Melissa's old crib, which Grandma Barbara had saved all these years just for this. He loved his new room and exploring Grandma and Grandpa's house. He also got to meet Anna and his second cousin once removed Stephanie and spend time with his Aunt Melissa and Ben.

I'm not sure whether he knows he's holding anything.
