More new pictures!

Sam is home and we just wanted to put up a few more pictures of him. He's got his eyes open a lot more now, and generally seems to be pretty happy!

Bris

Sam's bris will be on Monday, February 7th, at 3:30 pm, in the common room of our condo building at 150 Cambridge St, Cambridge MA. Everyone is welcome, and we'd appreciate your letting us know if you plan to come so we can get enough food (stephanie.singer or bsinger at gmail). Sam is looking forward to meeting all his fans!

Sam Comes Home

Although we were supposed to stay in the hospital until Wednesday morning, we decided to leave Tuesday night instead, after Tuesday's snowstorm was plowed and before Wednesday's started. After a nerve-wracking drive down a moderately plowed Memorial Drive, we arrived safe and sound at home.

Leaving the Hospital

All dressed to come home... until the zipper started irritating his face and we had to switch to outfit #2.

All bundled up for the cold, snowy New England winter. We've been told that New England winter babies are hardy, and Sam certainly is -- he didn't even flinch when we went outside and into the cold car!


Flowers from Great Grandma Bea and Great Grandpa Seymour. This is their ninth great-grandchild. And car seat from Great Aunt Joyce and Great Uncle Martin.

Sam greatly enjoyed his stay at Mt. Auburn hospital, including a visit from Grandma Barbara, Grandpa Michael, and Aunt Melissa.

Samuel Ross Singer arrived at 12:30 am on January 31. He weighed 6 pounds 6.5 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Mom, Dad, and Sam are doing well. I'll put up some pictures once we get home and have better internet access. Thanks for all the e-mails, phone calls, and Facebook messages!
