Shoed Dude

Our nanny's grandson outgrew these shoes, so she gave them to Sam.  His first pair of shoes!
(Also, he now smiles like this whenever I pick up the camera and point it at him.  He's a born ham.)

He kept picking up his new "toys" and being confused when his feet were attached to them.

Ribs

We went with Sam and some of our friends to the East Cambridge Rib Fest this afternoon.  The East Cambridge Business Association shut down most of Cambridge Street, and all the local restaurants competed in a rib contest.  Sam tasted his first ribs.

Managed to get this right before he attempted to roll off.  Don't worry, we caught him.

Our next few cow chair pictures may just be standing up like this, since that's all Sam wants to do these days.

Holy Cow -- We Won't Sit on the Cow

Sam's eight-month-old cow chair photo shoot didn't go so well this week.  He's too big/old/active to lay calmly on the cow chair, but too young to know that rolling over on the cow chair is detrimental to your health.  So this is the best I got.
